Ciro ScottoPAPERS IN PROGRESSI am currently working on a paper exploring the intersection between K-nets, set inclusion, and K/Kh complexes. I am refining my paper on timbre in rock music. I am working creating GIS structures to formalize timbral transformations. I am working on some analyses of the String Quartets of Roger Reynolds. I am exploring the intersection of transformation theory and algorithmic composition. I am reformalizing my model of self-deriving rows. I am attempting to demonstrate how the orbits of the group Z12 in specific orderings generate the rows. I am rexamining the rhythmic structure of Milton Babbitt's music. I am also working on several compositions. |
